LOL! It was 25 days and I didn't find the answer, it found me. I saw a pic and said, hey I know that part. Anyhow I like it's design for clearance problems.

I did. And with a deep enough backspace that might even be usable on a custom MGB IRS.

The AU Falcon IRS is a bit reminiscent of an improved MN12 Thunderbird IRS.

That is a sweet set up. The general lay out resembles the c-5 vet with its rear toe link with upper and lower ball joints. The shock towers seem a little tall but if they fit in the cobra body, what the hell. Looks like it has a very low unsprung weight. Too bad they dont sell them here.

I think the upper coilover mount is high because the LCA is so close to the axle centerline. Another example of Ford reducing the twisting of the upright.
