Re: Name That Part!

LOL! NO! Honestly trying to get members involved, getting them to post. Trying to draw out the non posters. LOL! Gotta be Ford anyhow I figure. But that's as far as I go.

Re: Name That Part!

Ralphy, if we are going to play "everyones favorite game show, name that part"  The host should at least hold the answer card in his hand

Re: Name That Part!

LOL! It was 25 days and I didn't find the answer, it found me. I saw a pic and said, hey I know that part. Anyhow I like it's design for clearance problems.

Jim B did you see this UCA?

Re: Name That Part!

I did. And with a deep enough backspace that might even be usable on a custom MGB IRS.

Re: Name That Part!

The AU Falcon IRS is a bit reminiscent of an improved MN12 Thunderbird IRS.

Re: Name That Part!

That is a sweet set up.  The general lay out resembles the c-5 vet with its rear toe link with upper and lower ball joints.  The shock towers seem a little tall but if they fit in the cobra body, what the hell.   Looks like it has a very low unsprung weight.  Too bad they dont sell them here.

Re: Name That Part!

I think the upper coilover mount is high because the LCA is so close to the axle centerline. Another example of Ford reducing the twisting of the upright.
