I used the patter I pictured before to make these brackets. they are heavy duty and identical. best part is they fit really well.
They look simple enough but I have almost 8 hours in to them. They are currently only tack welded together, I need to weld them up solid, including fish plates at the joints so that I can start working on the cross beams.

Great looking pieces and ................... I really start thinking of going this way too. The best side is that the system can be assembled on the ground and just lift up in place which is a very big bonus.

Daze, I am ready to build the side supports and....... just toughed of asking for the plans. My car is on the ground and drivable so preparing everything and then making it a one day job is what I prefer. Otherwise I have to unbolt everything and make the template which might take to long on a other guys lift.
Can you give me the measurements for the side supports?

nope can't do it. you already took my web site info and put in one unit ahead of me and I can't let you beat me again, it would make me look bad just kidding. I can give you my info but I don't know if it is the same for a 67 Mustang. this drawing is not to scale, but should give you a general idea of what I have going on.

Let me know if I can help further

I can wait if.................. you want me to do so
Before asking you for the plans, I searched my Mustang vendor catalogs and all state the same frame rails for 65-68. I assume that this info should proof that the side mounts should fit. Even if they don't fit, we will gain some new info about it .
Thanks Daze,

Do you want shackle length?? I can get it for you but I think you would be better served to figure it out your self for your application to insure the side brackets are level.

Actually I needed the .............. front section so I can prepare them before going on the lift. I will have to leave town for a week and have to wait until I am back and go on with the install.

Very nice work! ... the gaps at the bends look really good. I'm guessing that took many trips to the grinder to get those just perfect!

Thanks!! truth is it didn't take that much grinding I new what angle and shape I needed to cut my wedge out and then just cut it a little big so I had a good gap to fill with weld.
