Another option would be to mount the IRS to a cage like Daze is planning to do and route the exhaust pipes above it. I measured the space between Daze's cage and the body which looks like enough space for the exhaust pipes to pass.

I cheated on my exhaust it comes out just in front of the rear tires so I will not need to worry about getting it around the "cage"

It is going up but only 1/8" to 1/4" I think you are right there will be plenty of room for exhaust up there, however some sort of heat shield might need to be used between the exhaust and the floor boards of the trunk.
