Hi, I'm Donna. I have a 1936 Ford pickup with the original frame. I have an early model Jag IRS with the crossmember and inboard disc brakes. I also have a later model Jag IRS with the outboard disc brakes. Which would you recommend that I use?
Any and all info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Peace and Blessings,
Donna

welcome to the forum!!! You really have three options, use the older unit, use the newer unit, OR put the outboard disc on the older unit. Eaither unit should be good. I am more familiar with the older units but they are solid and easy to work with. The inboard disc are good for because of the unsprung weight but the brakes are hard to work on so there are plusses and minuses. Got any pictures of the units?? what year and model did the newer one come from.
