Someone should know their limitations.  Just because you have new toy doesn't mean you should use it on something THAT IMPORTANT for your first couple of uses.

My guess the housing being thicker never reached a high enough temp.

doesn't even look like he got good penetration on the brackets.  The close ups of the brackets doesn't even show any weld.   WOW!!!  thats just crazy


If it isn't broken..... modify it anyway!!!!
