Since the change we went from 60 members to over 270. How long has it been since you updated the site Day?

Since the header update? Before that time there were 60 users.

honestly I only attribute a small amount of the growth to the header change. About the time the header revision went up we became more visible on the search engines (due to a bunch of behind the scenes things I was and am doing) I think that was the biggest thing improving growth.... and me not coming around every day ;)

Definitely I understand and agree. You not coming around would have a major impact.
I didn't know you were doing other things behind the scene.
I like to check how many users are on line often. Seems there are always people here, 7 right now at 6:30 AM. Saw 14 the other day and 20 was the highest I have ever seen.

Just to give you an idea of how far our visibility has improved, if you google "irs forum" we come up #5 which is amazing when you consider that the 4 ahead of us and all of the ones after us are tax related. Talk about an established google search with IRS referring to taxes. That was a tough nut to crack.

Damn government! Hits will improve the position also, yes?
Doing enough searching, I fully know about sifting out The IRS.

Daze - Hats off to being almost as important (but more popular) as the tax code!

If you search pretty much anything IRS and view images 9 out of 10 will be from here also.

I've been really busy the last couple of weeks, working around the house inside and out. Reorganized the garage, today my attic. Installed more lights in the garage with low temp ballasts. Damn it's bright! Found what I think is the mother of all do it yourselfers welders, it's a Hobart. I now have a coworker/welder living up the street, well versed with TIG.

Ralphy - trade you crappy house jobs.
Been stuck weekends and nights on the demo and re-sheetrock the Master Bath. <UGH> First, I had to move /remove the 15 "bales" of insulation I put in a few years back. The ceiling is almost done. Next the walls.
Maybe Monday I can get to the Vette and do a posting or two.
Nice welder. Now go melt some metal!
Cheers - Jim

I've had projects that I never finished. I was decking my attic above my garage, it's now finished as of yesterday. Next I'm going to build a small storage area onto the back of my house. So I can get the bikes and mower etc... out of the garage. I'm very cramped for garage space, being I'm working out of a typical 2 car unit.
Hobart is owned by Miller I hear.
