This may seem like a dumb question, but are there any pics out there of wheelie bars on a IRS ? I don't recall running across any anywhere... Or any ideas ??

IMHO wheel stands and IRS are almost mutually exclusive. I am not saying that it can't be done, I am just saying they belong in two different arenas. As a whole wheel stands are part of the drag race world and IRS is more of a road course thing. The biggest pit fall on an IRS is wheel hop and putting the kind of power to the wheels that would allow a wheel stand would cause wheel hop on a crazy level.

Thanks Daze,, LOL yeah I figured that! Hopefully it would be more cosmetic if I even do it at all. I was just wondering what I may want to include in some of the fab work to maybe allow for them. What I'm learning on this forum has got me thinking of all kinds of things for another build already but 1st things first,,lol

I have seen some pics of a Corvette wheel standing. But I don't think he had wheelie bars. Yes it was with an IRS. Dragvette built IRS. Dragvette makes a setup that removes cambering., tires stay flat through suspension motion.
I found it!
According to the article, this one has an IRS also.

Can you say TORQUE!, Wow. I don't plan on that kinda HP. I did find some pics of some on a VW but they looked to attach at the outer hub area. Think I'll just keep it in mind for now and see what I can run across for ideas. I'll just be running street composite tires,, more than likely end up making smoke. The one Im running now will lighten up the front end big time just hitting 2nd. but stays flat and spins the tires on a standing still take off till it grabs. Thats on 295/50/15s

WOW! Nice twisty half shaft! That is clear proof that you really can get a IRS to hook up.
