Re: The IRS assembly picture thread

The only issue is having a frame the hangs low enough to mount the rear link at the right height.. If so your golden!

Here are the ones I saw at SEMA

I didn't know that the new dodge charger had IRS

Here is another shot of the same IRS system, only out of the car

Re: The IRS assembly picture thread

well that is an interesting suspension

That is the most beautiful "Frankenstein" of parts I have ever seen:
ford 9"
Jag stile inboard rear discs
Jag stile tubular LCAs
custom hubs
UCAs like a modern Musting IRS

I am impressed.

Re: The IRS assembly picture thread

Day,
Who built that? Those to me look like C5 hubs.

http://roadstershop.com/blog/2011/roadster-shop-fast-track-irs-overview/

Now that's the WOW FACTOR! LCA is 1 5/8", delrin and oilite bushings. I can't say enough about this unit, except $8,000.00 plus and no diff. The lower is angled for anti-squat I think, coil-over to the front, TIG welded. Easily adjustable toe. How about that sway bar setup? Not sure about the life of delrin I have heard they wear quick.
