1989 Mustang Convertible IRS Woes

I am thinking of installing a built 03 Cobra IRS into my 89 vert. So far I have 95 Cobra R Rims with 275/40r17's and have a set of 00R 18x9.5" 275/40R18 wheels on the way. Up front I have on standby an ooR rack. Car has tubular suspension up front, coil overs, caster camber plates. The rear is stock. I am thinking I want a 9" like my 93, but I am leaning on the IRS deal. Anyone know what a 17x9 95R wheel with a 275/40R17 would look like outack? I think I can spead out the rear quarters with a port a power to get it all to fit.

I have been looking for an alternative, but cannot find one. I see FF has a fox width IRS. Anyone ever swap an alternative IRS into a 79-93 mustang chassis?
