Well my project is stalled out for a week to ten days.

Today I cut and drilled the 1/4" plate that is going to go on the top of my crossmembers so that I could use it to temporarily mock up the differential with out having to drill any mounting holed in the cross beams. My plan was, and still is to bolt the plate directly to the differential and then clamp the plate to the cross bars. I know it will hang down about 3/4" lower than it will when it is actually installed, due to the bolt head thicknesses and the plate thickness, but I just want to make sure the hubs will be correctly centered in the wheel well before I drill any holes. any way I realized today the the differential is to heavy to position by my self so I need a transmission jack to raise it up to the cross bar. Unfortunately I could not find that tool locally and had to order one online, so I will not be able to mount the diff in place until the jack arrives. Oh well I guess it is a good time to look in to rebuilding the brake calipers.

If it isn't broken..... modify it anyway!!!!
