UHMW Bearings

For you DIY guys and maybe a gal out there here are some photos of the UHMW bearings I had fabbed up for me at a machine shop. I have to admit that it was CWI that gave me the idea for these but I just wasn't willing to spend $85 for four pieces of plastic. I have also included a drawing showing all of the measurements so if you want to make your own you can. The material I used is UHWM Oil Filled which I believe is better than the non-oil filled units from CWI. I bought the material from McMaster-Carr P/N 92547009 for $10 per foot.

If it isn't broken..... modify it anyway!!!!

I use Solidworks for all of my parts drawings. It's a great program for designing new parts also. The .jpg appears to be the only format that I can get into the forum. I increased the size of the text so hopefully it is readable. If this doesn't work I am happy to send individually to anyone interested.

Wrong Part Number  The McMaster-Carr P/N above is incorrect. Should be P/N 5243T21

Thats better, but can you save it as a DFX file and email it to me??  I believe solid works will allow you to safe it that way and then I can open it in cad.
